Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Your tour begins early morning with transfer from your hotel, or airport to Kibale national park. Kampala – Kibale driving distance is 3 hours reaching in time time for lunch. Tour the Tooro Kings palace and explore the crater region. Have Dinner and overnight at
Early morning with your guide drive through Mubende to Fortportal on a 3 – 4 hours’ drive. You will have lunch in fort portal, after which check into your hotel. In the afternoon head out for a community walk to visit the crater lakes region where you will have spectacular views of the Lakes. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking – Bigodi swamp tour
You will wake very early in the morning have breakfast and get your packed lunch and then head to Kanyanchu park headquarters in Kibale forest national park where you will be allocated a guide who will brief you and you then head for chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Kibale forest national park is called the primate capital of east Africa because of the high primate population it has. It’s the only national park in east Africa where one can have the best primate tracking viewing the chimpanzee man’s closest primate and many other primates like monkeys plus a number of bird species.
You will get chance to have your lunch in the wild as you listen to the sights and sounds of the forest. After tracking, you will return to the park headquarters, relax a bit and head to the Bigodi wetlands if you are interested in birding or visit the Bigodi community for community tourism and later return to your lodge

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park – Afternoon Launch Cruise
Start your Uganda wildlife tour with pick up early morning from your hotel after a cup of coffee and drive off for Kasese home of Queen Elizabeth national park. The drive 1 – 2 hour drive will take you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside. Have a game drive on arrival and later drive to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon head out for a 2 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will see large concentrations of wildlife along the banks of the river like hippos, elephants, buffaloes, a large number of bird species. Later return to your hotel for Dinner and overnight at; Enganzi Lodge (budget), Marafiki safari lodge (midrange) and Mweya safari lodge (luxury)

Day 4: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Bwindi national park
Set off quite today with packed breakfast for an early morning game drive to catch the early risers in the the Kasenyi Sector of the park. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and quite a number of others. Return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon depart for Bwindi national park home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Bwindi comprises of over 480 mountain gorillas, with 12 habituated gorilla groups. The journey goes through the Ishasha sector famous for Tree-Climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/ Silverback Lodge (Midrange)/Buhoma Community Bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (Budget)

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Pygmies visit
Wake up very early in the morning and prepare for the Gorilla Tracking activity, include your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are always park guides with you who interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk to batwa community. Dinner and over night at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park – Afternoon Boat Ride
arly breakfast in preparation for the journey to Lake Mburo National park via Kabale – Mbarara route. The park is home to zebras, impalas, waterbucks and other animals of the antelope family. Check into your hotel on arrival and later head out for a community walk to the Salt Lick wooden platform where you will see wildlife lick salty soil. Return to your hotel for lunch and in the afternoon embark on an after lunch for afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo its self in search for water game such as Hippos, crocodiles, birds and statunga antelopes inhabiting in papyruses surrounding the Lake.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive – Departure
Have breakfast at your hotel and set off for an early game drive in search for wildlife as they return to their hide-outs. Expect to see zebras, Impala, oribs, bafalo, sitatunga antelope and more. Return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon hit the road back to Kampala for departure or drop off at the airport to catch your departure flight.
