Day 1: Pick Up transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National park

Day 5: Golden Monkey Tracking or Dian Fossey Hike – Transfer to Lake Kivu.

Day 6: Boat Ride & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Morning breakfast, you will go on a boat ride along Lake Kivu where you will explore the small island on the lake. Lake Kivu is the largest freshwater lake in Rwanda. Later have an early lunch and set off for Uganda, crossing via the Chanika border. Dinner and overnight at Birdnest/ Bunyonyi Resort.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning, you will have your breakfast and set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park by 7:30 am. You will drive via the Ishasha sector with an opportunity to see tree-climbing lions. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching early enough for lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge. After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise at 4 pm along the Kazinga channel where you will see lots of bird species, crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, and elephants among others. Embark to the lodge for refreshment, dinner, and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury)/Ihamba Lodge (Deluxe)/Kingfisher Lodge (Budget).

Day 8: Morning game drives and transfer to Kibale National Park

In the morning, you will go for game drives, where you will see games like lions, bushbucks, antelopes, elephants, water hogs among others. Go back to the hotel for a late breakfast, and relax at the poolside as you wait for your lunch. After lunch, set off to Kibale national park, home of over 13 primate species. Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary

Early morning breakfast and head out for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest National Park, where you will stay until mid-day. You will have lunch at Chimps nest lodge and in the afternoon, go for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary, where you will encounter a variety of birds and animals. You later drive back to Fort Portal, and if still early and strong, you may visit the “Amabeere Ganyina Mwiru” and the king’s palace. Dinner and overnight stay (Day 4).

Day 10: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Have an early breakfast at the hotel and pick up by our company tour guide – hit the road to Masindi where the magnificent Murchison Falls Park is situated, en-route visit to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary and lunch in Masindi town. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Murchison River lodge / Red chili Rest Camp.

Day 11: Game drive and Fantastic boat cruise

Wake up early for a cup of coffee/tea and embark on a morning game drive in search of early raisers as well as predators returning to their hideouts. During this game drive, expect an encounter with the African lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes, and Giraffes among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast as we wait for lunch.

In the afternoon have a fantastic launch cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Murchison falls is a birders paradise with over 450 species, huge crocodiles, Hippos, and Elephants basking on the shores. Overnight at Paraa Lodge /Murchison Lodge or Red chili camp.

Day 12: Kaniyo Pabidi Chimpanzee tracking – Kampala

Go for Chimpanzee tracking at Kaniyo Pabidi forest reserve after breakfast. The sounds of the chimps carry through the forest, so approaching and watching these creatures in their natural habitat is a fantastic wildlife viewing experience. After, you will transfer back to Kampala reaching in the evening for dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel (Luxury)/Cassia Lodge (Deluxe)/Landmark view Hotel (Budget).

Day 13: Transfer to Jinja – Source of the Nile
