Day 1 of the 10 days: Traveling from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy a delicious cup of tea or coffee in a hotel facility in Kampala, after, meet your tour leader for briefing about the 10 days Uganda, Rwanda and Congo safari trip. After, start 5-6 hour’s drive on Kampala-Mityana-Mubende-Fort Portal road to visit Kibale Forest National Park in Western Uganda.
En-route, expect the most scenic view of vast tea plantations and at Fort Portal Tourism City, have the best of your lunch at a hotel. Later, transfer to Amabere G’Nyinamwiru caves for brief tour, get the best of caving experience and then go check into the lodge for overnight stay.

Day 2 of the 10 days: Chimpanzee Habituation & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
As earlier as 6:00am after you have had a hefty breakfast, gather for briefing at Kanyanchu Tourist Center. Learn more about guidelines for chimpanzee habituation experience and today, you have a long day of following the semi-habituated chimpanzees.
Learn in-depth about the daily behaviors of chimpanzees, take pictures-the overall idea of chimpanzee habituation is to make chimpanzees get used to human presence. On your long day of chimp trek, there are several other primate species, birds, butterflies and flora to see then return to the lodge to check out by 4:00pm. Leave Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park, 3-4 hours’ drive through Fort Portal City.

Day 3 of 10 days Uganda, Rwanda and Congo safari: Game drive & boat cruise
Day three of the 10 days Uganda, Rwanda and Congo safari starts with a hefty breakfast and you hit the road for a guided game drive via Kasenyi Plains/track of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Set off early in a fulltime 4×4 rental car and guide to enjoy 3-4 hours wildlife viewing experience. This rewards you with incredible sight of Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, warthogs, birds etc.
Return to have lunch at leisure and at 2:00pm, a boat or launch cruise be enjoyed on Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga channel links Lake Edward and Lake George, the area is endowed with plenty of water species including hippos, crocodiles, birds which you will keep an eye on while on a boat cruise.

Day 4 of the 10 days: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi
Breakfast early morning, after, leave your safari lodge for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park your next destination as per the 10 days Uganda, Rwanda and Congo safari. You will enjoy Ishasha game drive before connecting to Bwindi and at Ishasha sector in the South, expect to see mainly the tree climbing lions, birds, elephants, buffaloes etc. Proceed to Savanna Resort for a leisurely lunch and go to check into accommodation in Bwindi National Park.

Day 5 of 10 days Uganda, Rwanda and Congo safari: Gorilla trekking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After you have had breakfast, briefing will follow at your respective trailhead (Ruhija, Buhoma, Rushaga and Nkuringo). You will also be assigned to a gorilla family to track starting at 8:00am with park guide on lead.
Trekking gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will last for 2-6 hours which include one hour of face to face encounter. Retreat after your gorilla trek to have relaxation, and later, check out of the lodge ready to drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Day 6: Golden monkey tracking Mgahinga Gorilla National Park & drive to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda
Have breakfast early, after, assemble at Ntebeko Tourist Center for briefing about golden monkey tracking guidelines. Leave the visitor centre at 8:00am for 2-4 hours trek to look for golden monkeys which range only within the Virunga Mountain ranges region.
Upon finding golden monkey troop, retreat after one hour with them and check out of the lodge. Drive to Volcanoes National Park through Chanika border and arrive early to Northwestern Rwanda to check into your lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, leave the lodge for briefing once again on gorilla trekking rules but today, at Volcanoes National Park park offices in Kinigi. Today marks the second phase of your gorilla trekking experience as per your 10 days Uganda, Rwanda and Congo safari.
You will be tracking one of the 13 gorilla families for 2-6 hours which include 1 hour of magical encounter with gorillas in the wild. After photography, return from the jungles to your lodge for refreshments and later check out, then transfer to Lake Kivu Gisenyi.

After your heavy breakfast, briefing be done early morning at Kahuzi-Biega park offices to learn more about Eastern Lowland gorilla trekking rules, get assigned to any of the 5 lowland gorilla families. At 8:00am, be ready to start trekking to see the massive Eastern Lowland gorillas in their natural habitat and overall experience may take 2-6 hours, inclusive of 1 hour of face to face encounter. Return afterwards, get refreshed and later in the afternoon, visit Tshibati Falls.
