Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) is spectacular rain-forest park and one of the best destinations in the South-western safari circuit in Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park stretches up-to 331sq.km, founded in 1991 as one of the 10 Uganda National Parks. This Park is a home to over 120 mammal species including half of all the total population of mountain gorillas, 360 bird species and others.

Day 1: Trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, South-western circuit
Early morning, pick up by Uganda tour guide after breakfast and start the 8-9 hours’ drive trip to Ruhija sector of Bwindi, South-western Uganda. Expect a stopover at Equator (Kayabwe) to take pictures and lunch in Mbarara. As you proceed to Kabale, expect great sceneries that make this part the “Switzerland of Africa” and check into the booked accommodation Ruhija for overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi and cultural walk.
Assemble at Ruhija briefing point to have insight into gorilla trekking guidelines from the senior park official. Begin 2-6 hours of exploring Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see mountain gorilla family in the Ruhija area. Upon finding these apes, like other sectors, you have an ultimate 1 hour fr face to face interaction and photography then walk back to your accommodation. Get some refreshment and end the day with Batwa Pygmy community tour.

Day 3: Trip from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth-Uganda wildlife tour
Day 3 of the 4 days Gorilla & Wildlife Tour starts with hot cup of tea/coffee and then you check out from your accommodation, ready for 3-4 hours’ trip to Queen Elizabeth. Be driven via the southern area – Ishasha for incredible view of relaxed Tree Climbing Lions. Lunch at booked accommodation at Queen Elizabeth and later, you have Kazinga Channel boat cruise expedition lasting for 2-3 hours.
Kazinga Channel is magical, connects Lake George and Lake Edward and on a boat cruise, expect to view crocodile, hippos, water birds and so on. Get back to relax a little then proceed for evening guided game drive to see lion, elephants, cape buffaloes, antelopes of different types, warthogs, leopard, birds etc.

Day 4: Chimp Tracking Kalinzu Forest and Transfer to Entebbe.
Drive to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee Tracking experience just in the nearby Queen Elizabeth National Park. See more than chimps as you come across baboons, vervets, colobus monkeys, forest birds and unique flora. Walk back after 1 hour of observing chimps at Kalinzu Forest Reserve then drive back to Kampala through Mbarara City and have lunch at a hotel in Mbarara before you connect to Entebbe.
