Virunga National Park is located in the Eastern Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Park harbors mountain gorillas only and its sites on an area of about two million arcs that bordering Uganda and Rwanda. It is the oldest National Park in Africa.

The Kahuzi-Biega National Park is found in the eastern part of Congo bordering Rwanda in the western bank of Lake Kivu from Congo. The Park is famously known for the low land gorillas only that sites on an area of about 6,000 square kilometers extending over two Volcanoes of Mount Kahuzi and Mount Biega all located in the heart of the Park.

The Dry season is one of the two variation seasons that take place in Congo. During this season, Gorillas carry out nesting or build protection against their enemy from attacking their younger ones which are very interesting to see as our close relatives doing such an activity. More exciting this season is that the hiking trail is dry which makes hiking more easily in both National Parks and it also increases the chances of watching these majestic creatures in their natural home. The dry months are June, July, August, and early September and this is the long dry season, December, January and February are the short dry season in them. Though, being excellently found in the equatorial pleasant warm and tropical rainforest, no assurance that it won’t rain during this dry season. Wet season

The wet season is known as adventurous that requires you some fitness in order to marvel through the slippery and muddy trails, this what makes gorilla tracking uncomfortable experience. More interesting in this season, the rain doesn’t rain all day and we normally receive sunshine later in the day or in this wet season that makes tracking awesome. The later October, November and early December and from mid-March, April, and May are wet seasons which also are low season where traveler are few and sometimes no one but it’s rare also.
