Eastern Lowland Gorilla Trekking in Kahuzi Biega Park

Kahuzi Biega National Park offers an amazing experience all year long: hiking with Eastern Lowland Gorillas. There are two completely habituated groups of eastern lowland gorillas in the park that may be tracked at any time. The guidelines for hiking with eastern lowland gorillas are comparable to those for mountain gorillas. While trekking with lowland gorillas is feasible all year round, June, July, August, September, October, December, January, and February are the best months. Trekking conditions are more comfortable at these times since there is less rainfall, routes are easier to access, and the slopes are less slick.
