Day 1: Depart Kampala for Bwindi Forest National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Community Tour

In addition to the briefing, you will be allocated one of the 20 gorilla families in Bwindi Forest. At 8:00 am, the actual activity starts with the park guide leading you into the jungle Forest, and this will take 2-6 hours depending on where the gorillas are. The 6 hours include 1 hour of face-to-face interaction, photo-taking, etc, and after, you will walk back to have a relaxed evening in the lodge.
During your search for the gorillas, you may meet other wild animals and birds that live there. The most seen are the colobus monkeys, baboons, and reptiles, among others. Also, Bwindi Forest shelters over 350 bird species, 14 of which are not recorded anywhere in Africa.
