Your journey will cover about 8-10 hours and you will begin from Kampala through the Masaka-Mbarara-Kisoro route. On the way, you will make a stopover at Uganda Equator crossing for photo taking, relaxation and you proceed to Igongo Cultural Center for lunch. After lunch, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and a night stay at the lodge Day 2: Golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park Golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park starts with an early morning breakfast and later, you will transfer to Ntebeko Visitor Center for a briefing on the set guidelines to follow while on the search for golden monkeys. At 8:00 am after you have been assigned a park ranger guide, you will begin your trek to see golden monkeys which may last you about 2-4 hours which also includes an hour of magical encounter. You then retreat from this adventure to have some rest in the lodge and in the evening, pay a visit to the Batwa community for cultural experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge Day 3: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe Wake up to enjoy your cup of tea or coffee and later, check out of the lodge ready to make a return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Lunch will be served to you at Mbarara Town and another stopover will be made at Mpambire drum makers to learn how the local residents make drums and finally, connect to Kampala/Entebbe.
