On this 2-day Rwanda gorilla tour, you have the opportunity to meet one of the thirteen gorilla families who call this bamboo forest park home. Rwanda has been the top spot for gorilla trekking since Dian Fossey’s time. The country offers luxurious gorilla safaris for $1500 per permit. In addition to mountain gorillas, other wild animals found in Volcanoes National Park include forest elephants, buffalo, golden monkeys, and a variety of bird species. Approximately 180 bird species, including those unique to the Albertine Rift, as well as golden monkeys, bushbucks, duikers, spotted hyenas, gigantic forest hogs, leopards, and other remarkable wildlife can be observed in this park.
