3Days Uganda Gorilla Flying Safari
Overview
Experience the wonder of Bwindi Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas, on a three-day flying safari through Uganda. To ensure that your gorilla trekking journey in Uganda is truly unforgettable, Maranatha Tours and Travel has crafted one of our top luxury safaris. Your flying safari with the gorillas in Uganda will include a cultural visit to the Batwa people. The goal is to give you a taste of the real Batwa way of life, including their customs, traditions, and culture. The Batwa people, who reside in the area immediately surrounding Bwindi, were the park’s forest guardians prior to its official gazetted status in 1991.
Unique among national parks is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi, in southwestern Uganda, is a World Heritage Site according to UNESCO. Located between 1,160 and 2,607 meters in altitude, it is home to 459 of the 1063 mountain gorillas who are still alive today.
