Detailed itinerary of the 7 days Uganda Primate Safari
After breakfast at the hotel and a briefing from your guide, your 7-day Uganda Primate Safari to Kibale National Park begins. The travel from Kampala to Kibale takes around five hours and goes through Mityana, Mubende, and Fort Portal. If you get to Fort Portal city early, stay for lunch. After that, you’ll get a quick tour of the Tooro Kings Palace and then be dropped off to a lodge in or near Kibale. Later, you’ll go on a community walk that includes the Crater Lake adventure and then go back to your lodge to sleep for the night.

After breakfast, you’ll set out on your three-hour journey, taking in the sights along the way via Fort Portal and hopefully seeing some animals on your way to the lodge for lunch and check-in.
Get ready for an exciting 2-3 hour Kazinga Channel boat cruise after lunch at the lodge. Along with this, you can expect to see a plethora of wildlife, such as hippos, crocodiles, water birds, elephants, buffalo, and many more species along the riverbanks.

Lake Mburo is a small but beautiful savanna park that is home to many zebras, elands, impalas, waterbucks, giraffes, and birds. Go on a community walk to the Salt Lick Wooden Platform, where you can see a lot of wildlife as they gather in large groups to lick the salty earth. Later, go on a boat trip on Lake Mburo with other visitors in the afternoon. You should see a lot of wildlife, including hippos and crocodiles.
