Best time to visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Forest is an open wildlife 7 gorilla adventure destination throughout the year; the best time is usually from June to August and December to February. There is little rain during this time and the forest trails are passable and less slippery. June to August and December to February are the driest months. March to April and September to November are very wet months, though they make the best bird watching safaris in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

During the drier season, the days are sunny and wildlife viewing is at its best. This is the best time to track the mountain gorillas in Bwindi. Always carry warm clothing since it gets cold sometimes, most especially at night. And when it shines, it can hit you out, so water is a big requirement too.
