Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda.
At Kigali International airport, you will be received and welcomed by our company tour guide who will later transfer you to Top View Hotel(budget)/Urban Boutique Hotel(Deluxe)/Kigali Serena Hotel(Luxury).
Day 2: City tour and Trip to Akagera National Park.
In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel for a city tour. Visit the genocide memorial, Ntarama church, local markets, and Ntarama church. You will then set off for a scenic drive to Akagera national park, reaching in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Rusizi tented lodge/Akagera game Lodge.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise.
Early morning, you will go for game drives up to the northern part of the park to catch up with early risers before they go into hiding. You will have a chance to see, antelopes, giraffes, Elephants, Buffalos, bushbucks among others. After lunch, go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you will be rewarded with a view of the game as hippos, crocodiles, as well as a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight (day 2).
Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Have breakfast in the morning and set out from the park and proceed to Volcanoes National Park via Kigali. In the evening, you will visit the Iby’wachu where you will learn more about Rwanda’s traditional culture.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking Adventure.
Gorilla Trekking
Wake up, and with packed lunch, head for pre-tracking briefing at the part headquarters before going for the gorilla tracking adventure in the forest. Tracking may take 3-6 hours depending on the movement of the gentle giants. Stay in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of one hour before returning back. Dinner and overnight stay (Day 5).
Day 7: Golden monkey tracking and transfer to Lake Kivu.
This day will begin with golden monkey tracking activity. After which you will set off for a spectacular drive to Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. You may take a boat cruise up to the hot springs upon arrival.

Day 8: Trip to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Have your early morning breakfast and set off to Nyungwe National park with en route stopovers for photography and lunch, reaching early in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge/Nyungwe Top View Lodge/Gisakura hotel.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking and Primate Walk in the Forest.

Early morning, following your breakfast, you will set off to the forest for a chimpanzee tracking adventure. Return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon, go for colobus monkey tracking where you will encounter other primates such as baboons, vervet monkeys, and others. Alternatively, you may go for the breathtaking forest canopy walk, where you will view the entire Nyungwe Forest top view as well as birds among others. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10:Return to Kigali.
On waking up, you will head back to Kigali with en route stopover in Murambi genocide memorial, Butare museum, Nyanza museum, among other areas good for more information about Rwanda’s history and adventure. You will reach Kigali in the evening and transfer to the airport for departure if on schedule.
