Day 1: Depart Kampala for Bwindi Forest National Park

Have a hefty breakfast early morning back in your place of residence or hotel in Kampala. After, meet, greet your driver guide/tour leader and shortly, have a quick briefing about the Affordable 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Tour Package Uganda.

Depart Kampala city after briefing taking the Kampala-Mbarara-Kabale route likely to take you 8-9 hours’ drive depending on the mechanical condition of your rental car.

Transfer to Bwindi Forest offices/trailhead as directed by your gorilla permit to get briefed about Gorilla trekking rules and this occurs in the park’s 4 regions of Rushaga, Nkuringo, Ruhija, and Buhoma.

The 7:00 am-8:00 am briefing isn’t only for you to have insight into Gorilla rules but also to be allocated to a habituated gorilla family out of Bwindi’s 20 families readily available for trekking. At 8:00 am, the actual activity starts with the park guide leading you and this will take 2-6 hours depending on where gorillas are. The 6 hours include 1 hour of face-to-face interaction, photo-taking, etc, and after, you will walk back to have a relaxed evening in the lodge.

After a relaxed lunch back in your lodge, go end your day with a Batwa community tour. Interact, explore more about the Batwa pygmies’ cultures, dances, traditions and then get back to retire for the night in your lodge.

Day 3: Return to either Kampala or Entebbe
