Located in South Western Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) is a spectacular rain-forest park.  The gorilla Park stretches up to 331sq.km, founded in 1991 as one of the 10 Uganda National Parks. This Park is home to over 120 mammal species including half of all the total population of mountain gorillas, 360 bird species, and others. Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National park

4 Days Uganda gorillas & wildlife safarisEarly morning, pick up by Uganda tour guide and start the 8-9 hours’ drive trip to Ruhija sector of Bwindi, South-western Uganda.  This full day drive entail various stopovers for refreshments and photography. A stop at the Uganda Equator is  a must on this drive.  You will also traverse various districts local communities, trading centers, cattle farms  and banana plantations all which reward you with a memorable pre gorilla trekking experience. You will arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi and cultural walk.

Assemble at Ruhija briefing point to have insight into gorilla trekking guidelines from the senior park official. Begin a 2-6 hours of exploring Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see mountain gorilla families in the Ruhija area. Upon finding these apes, you  will have an ultimate 1-hour for face to face interaction and photography with the man’s  close relatives in their natural habitats.  In the evening, go to visit the batwa community to meet and interact with these short people.  You  will learn and experience the traditions, norms and customs of these indigenous forest people. You will later transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Transfer to  Queen Elizabeth-Uganda wildlife tour

Day 3 of the 4 Days Uganda Safari Tour starts with a hot cup of tea/coffee and then you check out from your accommodation, ready for 3-4 hours’ trip to Queen Elizabeth. Drive via the southern area – Ishasha for an incredible view of relaxed Tree Climbing Lions. Lunch at booked accommodation at Queen Elizabeth and later, you have Kazinga Channel boat cruise expedition lasting for 2-3 hours.

Kazinga Channel is magical, connects Lake George and Lake Edward, and on a boat cruise, expect to view crocodiles, hippos, water birds, and so on. Best time to do a 4 days Uganda gorillas & wildlife safari

Dry/peak season is regarded the best time  for a 4 days Uganda gorillas and wildlife safari, This period is between June to September and December to February. The less of no rains in the dry  season make it easy to trek though the jungle forest of Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park as you search for the endangered mountain gorillas. Also, peak season is best for wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth national park. Photography  and scenic viewing is also best done in the peak season. However, the high demand for gorilla permits in the high season require advance booking for the gorilla permits since there is always high demand

What to pack for a 4 days  Uganda gorillas & wildlife safari

Your travel bag must contain essentials if you want to have a peaceful and enjoyable safari. Among the things you should pack include light closed hiking boots to protect your feet from getting dirty and hurt, Gardening gloves for your hands, Hat for your hair and head, Scarf to keep you warm, Long sleeved shirts. blouse, ling pants tacked into the stockings,  Rain jacket  for the unpredictable forest weather, insect repellants to prevent poisonous bites, toiletries and first aid kit for any emergencies. Guidelines for a 4 days Uganda gorillas & wildlife safari

You are reminded to follow the rules and regulations as directed by the ranger guided.  For gorilla trekking, endeavor to keep these rules, Do not trek gorillas when sick, Do not couch and sneeze in presence of the gorillas, keep a distance of 7 meters away from the endangered gorillas, Do not litter in the gorilla park, Do not couch the gorillas, Speak on a low tone,  Do not run when a gorilla charges, just step back and lay low, Do not use flashlight cameras, Do not look directly into the eyes of the gorillas. For game viewing, do not drive in the park before and past 7pm and 7am respectively, Do not bring pets in the park, do not drive beyond 40 kilometers per hour, Do not hoot in the park, do not set camp fire anywhere in the park, you must be authorized to do so. When going for a boat cruise make sure you have a life jacket on
